Irina Ilyina

Born in 1973,
she has a degree in Art and is a member of Moscow and international Art Union.
When she was 4 years old,
she demonstrated her gift in art by painting the walls in her parents’ kitchen.
Since that moment her life’s path was chosen and she started studying art.
In 1989 Irina entered Fedoskino Art College,
where she succeeded in miniature painting of the most elaborate themes and compositions.
Being determined, hardworking, patient and simply gifted,
she achieved a lot in miniature painting.
She is one of the best who can depict animals and show their character, beauty, state and behavior.
Her other favorite theme is children ---
their thoughts, feelings and inner world.
When painting fairy tales,
she oftentimes makes portraits of real people as epic characters.

Yuriy Mikhalev

Born in 1965,
he is a miniature painting Artist and a member of Moscow and international Art Union.
As a teenager,
he was struck with the beauty and complicated techniques of miniature paining
and glowing of Fedoskino boxes and pictures.
Competition to Fedoskino Art College was 20 people for 1 place;
nevertheless, he entered the college in 1980.
There he discovered the secret of Fedoskino glowing paints,
which makes Fedoskino stand out in the line of other Russian paintings -
a coat of real silver, gold, platinum and mother of pearls.
His favorite theme is Russian architecture (music in stone)
and Russian wood buildings of the Russian North.
With his wife, Irina Ilina, he also likes making 3D images of wildlife
from all over the planet and Russian fairy tales.
