I was born in the small town of Kamyshin, Russia in 1983.

In 2009 I graduated from the Art Academy named after I. Repin,
department of painting in Saint-Petersburg.

Since 2010 I have been a member of Saint Petersburg Artists’ Union.

“In the artists’ still lives, usual objects become elements of decorative composition
being transformed into beautiful objects of another dimension.
As if they forgot their utility and show different relation between themselves and the viewer.”

When I am asked why I paint, I reply that I cannot do otherwise.
Life without painting is similar to the life of the bird in the cage that cannot fly.
As if something pushes me from inside,
makes me take the brush and paint again and again.
And this is my happiness.

Majority of my works are still lives.
I try to find the beautiful in what surrounds us every day,
to which we are used and do not pay attention.
Objects which I paint keep the warmth of human’s hands
and each has its own character, mood and fate.

I do not paint form nature,
I create themes in my head like mosaics of what admired me and caught my interest.
