In 1987 graduated from Moscow State External Pedagogical University,
department of arts and graphic.
Member of Artists’ Union of Russia and International Art Fund.
Participant of more than 300 exhibitions, held two personal exhibitions.
Works are in private collection in Russia and abroad.

 

 

 

 

Light is the most important in my works.
I would call myself “a singer of Light”.
Since childhood I have been enchanted by it.
You can notice that all my works are sunlit.
Sometimes for the sake of light and color I sacrifice the form.
I paint in both palette knife and brush;
I like these paste-like painting.

 

 

 

 

Anton Chekhov used to tell actors not to play the image to the end
but to leave the viewer a chance to complete the character of the personage.
In the same way I try to leave place for the fantasy of a viewer
and give him an opportunity to become part of the action.

 I like going out for plein air and to sense the aura of the landscape.
This year I went to Italy and the Baltic Sea to sketch.

 

 

I feel the happiest person when I paint.
At this moment I feel the contact with surrounding nature extremely sharply
and want to transfer this moment.

I also took part in creation of the movie about watercolors
and I would like to share the knowledge I have with those who want to join the creativity.

I teach.
I am sure that a person who starts to create becomes better and lighter.
