Valery Veselovsky was born in 1964 in Moscow.
He began his art education in private workshops of Art Schools.
In 1990 he graduated from University of Arts in Moscow with honor.
In 90-ies he was trained in the workshop of V. Terekhov.
Valery is a member of Artists’ Union of Russia,
Moscow departments and International Art Fund.
He participates in exhibitions and competitions in Russia and abroad.

 

 

“I decied to become an artist when I realized that I have a really good eye,
natural feeling of composition and I see many colors where others see only one.
My favorite artists are Van Gog, Grabar, Repin, Levitan, Schiele, etc.
Simetimes in my dreams I see an exhibitions of unpainted works in full color and details.
It is a pity that when you wake up, you remember only a couple of them.
This activity allows being the master of your own time
and when a good painting is created, it also brings pleasure.

The style of the artists is close to impressionism,
he tends to use clear thick colors trying not to blend them without necessity.
For the better effect he often uses the paste-like stroke of the palette knife
and the rough texture of the material.  
Many works are combination of landscape and genre;
he can feel the beauty in casual.
Nostalgia of Russian nature and Russian village inspire the Artist.
