An Artist.... Why am I an Artist?
This is a question I keep asking myself frequently. Perhaps I'd be better a teacher?
After all I work as a teacher of children's art school, and I like this job...
So, what brings me to oil and canvas? What pushes me towards easel as soon as I have some free time?
Is this the thirst of creativity or some strange strong feelings, which arrive each time I touch a brush?

I enjoy painting in the burning sun and in the wind,
when painting is combined with catching canvas trying to be gone with the wind.

I like visiting new places for painting and places which had already been painted.
I am fond of perfecting skills I have gained and develop new once with each artwork.

On plain-air I learn from nature... and perhaps there is something wrong with my eyesight,
as each time I observe scenery I see it as an artwork to be painted.
Same is applicable for an individual at whom I look as a potential portrait.

These images instantly arrive and it is hard to get rid of them.
And I admit I love it, that's why I am an Artist.
