(1893 - 1948)

Alexey Denshin was born in Vyatka.
From 1913 to 1917 he studied in Moscow College of Art, Sculpture and Architecture.
From 1919 to 1937 worked in Moscow, Sergiev Posad and Vyatka.
From 1930 to 1932 was a member of Realistic Artists’ Society.
From 1919 taught in Vyatka Art College.
He published a few books about Dymka Clay toy and did a lot for development of this traditional folk craft.
