 I was born to the family of Artists.
My grandfather, Rubinsky Pavel Pavlovich,
graduated from Petersburg Art Academy
and then studied painting in Paris.
Unfortunately, I know about him only from my father’s stories,
because after the Great patriotic War II (1941-1945)
there were no paintings of him left.
My father, Igor Pavlovich,
was a famous Moscow Artist and an honored Artist of Russia.
He graduated from Moscow Art Institute named after Surikov,
in the studio of Professor S. Gerasimov.
He travelled and lot and liked painting Russian landscapes.

I inherited the love for Russian nature from my father
when I travelled with him.
Because of my family, I never hesitated in my future path;
I knew I was destined to become an Artist.
I received an academic education in Art,
but my main teacher was still my father.

In my works I continue the traditions of Russian classical school.

I live and work in Moscow, on Verkhnyaya Maslovka Street.
Maslovka is an Artist’s region of Moscow;
it is also called “Moscow Montmartre”.

 I paint landscapes, portraits (especially children) and genre scenes.
Since 1990, I have been a member of Moscow Artist’s Union.

Recently, I have been travelling a lot in Europe and China.
I like meeting new people and painting unknown to me landscapes.

 I also paint landscapes and portraits to order.
