Roman was born in 1966 in Kemerovo, Siberia,
and got a degree in Art in Kazan.  
All his life he was working in industrial and auto design,
but at the beginning of 21st century he devoted himself solely to Art.
He is a member of Professional Artists’ Union and lives in Saint-Petersburg.
 

Landscapes

 “The art is a mediator of what cannot be expressed by words,”
said Johan Goethe.
And it is very true about nature.
You can describe the color and hues,
but you cannot easily express the feelings awakened  by the glory and beauty of nature.
It is easier to paint them.
That is why my goal is not only to show a pretty picture,
but to show life itself surrounded by light, space and air, movement of this life in various and unexpected states of nature.
I do not impose my view on people;
I only open the window so that they can see the beauty by themselves.
Through my romantic landscapes I want to show the beauty of our tender and fragile nature,
rich colors of autumn, evening mist of the summer and frosty air of winter.
I hope that my art can help you open untouched parts of your pure and kind soul. 

 Portrait

If you would like to make a long lasting gift to your relatives and friends,
and to show them how you appreciate them,
the portrait is the choice. 
The picture will be painted according to photographs (more than one for a better result),
at the size, theme, and surroundings of your choice. 
We will discuss the suitable image for your idea of a portrait and make a composition of the portrait.
During the work, I will send you a few photos of the progress to give you an idea of the end result
and to give you the chance to offer corrections.
