Tver Icon-painting Workshop was created in 1998.
All our artists are experienced professionals in icon
and temple interior painting.
We work both in classic icon painting canon
and academic realistic manner.
We pay attention to the inner spiritual beauty of images
rather than just beautiful look.
 


 

We use natural light proof pigment, stones, soils,
metal acids, gold leaf, and semi-precious stones.
We work with egg and glue tempera, acrylic and oils.
We also can engrave the background and to create engraved halo.
We also create icon altars, temple icon holders,
temple furniture and other objects of interior.
 

We create mosaic compositions for the facade part
of the temple or combine mosaics with painting.
Customers can send any sample which we will recreate.
In 2007 we were awarded with a diploma “input into Orthodox Art”
in Moscow at the  international exhibition “ Light to the world”.
