Oleg was born in 1962 in Chernyakhovka, Kaliningrad region.
In 1982 he graduated from Ryazan Art College and
in 1989 from Moscow Polygraph Institute.
Since this year he has been making regular trips
to Russian North, Kenozero Lake.
In 1999 he joined the Moscow Artist’s Union.
He participates in regular exhibitions in Russia and abroad
and his works are housed in museums and galleries all over the world.

The main part of Oleg’s themes is inspired by Russian North.
Enchanting beauty of Russian Northern nature,
unique style of life and traditions kept for many centuries
gave inspiration to more than one generation of artists.

Oleg’s works are meditation and reflection.
There are not usually many people in his landscapes,
but there are the results of people’s industrious hands --
durable houses of Russian villages,
a chapel in the forest, a bath or a boat.
Through not very complicated landscapes,
the Artist admires village life and harmony
between human and nature.
