 Who said that decorating houses with painting is old-fashioned? 
Not at all!
We are so used to kitsch and rapidly invented techniques in décor,
that for our soul sometimes we want something both simple and complicated like nature.
The paintings, created by the hand of the artist, are superior to assembly-line art because they are unique.
A good artist cherishes his/her reputation, and will hardly manufacture copies of the same work to gain more money.
Irina is one of these true artists.

 

 

 
The Painter uses a multi-layer technique, which was widely used before 20th century.
It required both special paper and skills.
By now, this technique has almost been lost and returned to life by Sergey Andryaka - a famous Russian water-color painter.
Irina, being his student and follower, has mastered this technique with excellence.

Her works are admired by both art lovers and professionals.
She experiments with various techniques and styles,
mixture of colors with a bright accent – all these are notable features of this gifted painter.

Although oil painting made in a traditional realistic manner may look more fundamental and rich,
it will not gain the lightness, transparency, easiness and illusion of images.
Look at the landscape “February”- the water color could show the heaviness of winter clouds, grayish hues of thawing snow. 
Look at the still life “Willow”- it has charm of young spring, warmth and hope.
Look at her paintings and you will be amazed how water colors can express the mood, the fading image, the feeling.
