I was born in Moscow 41 years ago.
For a year and a half I have been living in Alassio, Liguria, Italy.
I have liked painting since childhood, but did not even suspect
that it could become my serious hobby or profession.
I have always admired the ability of people to create something with their own hands -
paint, model, sew, knit, etc.

 

 

 

 

It had been deep inside me and for 10 years I worked as an accountant.
I was lucky to be able to travel a lot, first in Russia, then Europe.
I was enchanted by Italy at once, at the first trip I simply fell in love with it.
Upon returning to Moscow, three months later, I wanted back to Italy.
We simply came there for three months and travelled  - photos, museums, exhibitions.
Then Paris - from morning till night on foot, artists on bridges and in squares.
Our son Vanya had been travelling with us since he was two years old and endured these trips well.
I think the spirit of art has penetrated him.

Of course, all these impressions were not in vain.
And at last, two years ago I took paints, palette knife and could not stop.
I cannot even describe what it is inside me when I paint - it is like ecstasy, as if you are flying. 

 

 

 

 I took my works out into the Vernissage, on Crimean Embankment.
When two works were sold, I felt dizzy because some people wanted to have my paintings in their homes.
I am very grateful to those artists who worked with me and supported me.
Now they are my good friends and trust me their works when I hold exhibitions of Russian artists in Italy.

At my age of 40 I understood what I had wanted to be doing all my life,
what brought me great pleasure and inner freedom. 
It is happiness to have found your own path in life which makes the soul sing.
