Member of the International Federation of Artists and Artists’ Union of Russia.
Born in 1976 in Izhevsk.
Graduated from Moscow Academic Art Lyceum (workshop of L. Besednov)
and Russian Academy of Art, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. Glazunov.

 

 

 

 

“I was born to a family of Artists, and painting was the only activity for a child
who could see pencils and brushes around himself
and could see parents and the elder brother paining.

Albums with Old Masters paintings, sculptures drew me to a mysterious world.
Later, due to studies in art school and academy, there came a wish -
basing on a realistic tradition to find my own way and language in art.

The most interesting thing in the process of creativity
is the way from the first vague idea to the finished work without losing anything
but with understanding why the image drew your attention. 

 

 

 

 

I like multilayers in both meanings – as a painting technique and the complexity of the work,
where each detail has to become a necessary part of the choir of silhouettes and spots.
It has to be a compound of impressions and emotions.
Even the frame is part of this which adds to the tune,
that is why for many of my works I create frames myself.

The process of synthesis is the stimulus for which I want to take a brush and paint.
