I was born to a family of an Artist. As a child, I fell in love with Van Gog, Toulouse-Lautrec, Modigliani, Korovin, Monet…
My father brought me up in the conditions where I could not help falling in love with painting. We often visited workshops of his artist friends.
Painting has always been in my life. Many excellent albums, books and magazines on art also added to my education.
My father never told me what was allowed and what was not, I simply watched him working and learned form his example.
We went out to make sketches and worked in his workshop together,
he taught me love for impressionism and Russian painting of late 19th -early 20th century.

   I believe that something of your own never grows out of nothing.
It appears where there is foundation,
love for artists of the past, present,
sincere admiration and astonishment at their seeing and discoveries.

 

 

Art for me is color first of all.
I tend to the simplicity of the form, generalizing,
filling it with color when the artistic thrill becomes more important than details
and there appears some artistic element which has its own life different form nature,
although surrounding nature gives the impulse to the necessity of painting.
I think that it is necessary to make the sense, not to search for it.
We need to think of what we do, write and paint.
Music is a necessary condition for my life and art.  
It also comes from childhood and I cannot imagine myself without music or books.
 

 

Love for my people, nature, art, photography, music,
poetry and books is the basis of my art, my world.
I change due to the art of other people and add meaning to what I do.
We cannot change the world, change other people, political events,
but we can change the colors in the palette and through our sight add meaning to your own life.
That is why I cannot be anybody else.
In art and photography I can take responsibility for what I do.
